It was in a festive atmosphere that staff of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife gathered at the mvog betsi zoological garden on Monday, May 1, 2023 to commune as part of activities to mark the 137th celebration of the International Labor Day under the theme "Resilience and work: acting within the world of work to improve living conditions and social inclusion".

Delivering a word on behalf of the staff of the ministry, Mr. Fouda, the staff representative, did not fail to point out some of the grievances they are going through. Among others, he cited need to improve on working environment, the advent of the status of the body for forestry corps and the inadequacy of working tools and many others.

In a later address, the Minister Jules Doret NDONGO committed himself to gradually address the grievances presented by the staff delegate. The head of ministerial department also invited his collaborators to show resilience despite the restrictive budgetary allocations, to be assiduous, punctual but also called on each and every one to put hands on deck so as to valorize and find a more appropriate framework to express themselves and give the best of each one to our country.

While wishing them a happy feast, he did not fail to remind his collaborators to be more ardent and efficient in their work, in order to achieve the objectives set by the ministerial department he is in charge of.
