The Secretary General of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife has officially installed the newly appointed chiefs of services on Wednesday February 7, 2024.
The ceremony which was attended by all MINFOF senior staff held in a very convivial atmosphere. In his speech, the Secretary General of Forestry and Wildlife reminded his collaborators in general and the newly-appointed staff in particular, that the functions assigned to them could only be meaningful if they are committed and aware of their responsibilities.
He also emphasized the three essential duties of civil servants in the broadest sense of the term: the respect of professional secrecy, the duty to act in a reserved manner, and the right to obey hierarchy.
As part of the smooth running of the various departments, the Secretary General expects of the new recruits to carry out an analysis of their respective structures, and make objective proposals designed to optimize the implementation of activities in their sub-sectors, as what concerns them individually.
