A Word From The Minister
Dear Internet users, we welcome you to the official website of the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife. We very much hope that you are the actors of our organization. Indeed, we are responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the Government's forest and wildlife policy. As such, we are responsible for: - the management and protection of forests in the national domain; - the development and monitoring of the execution of regeneration, reforestation, inventory and forest management programs; - monitoring compliance with regulations in the field of logging by the various stakeholders; - liaison with professional bodies in the forestry sector; - the development and management of botanical gardens; - the application of international conventions ratified by Cameroon on wildlife and hunting.
